you are attending a clinic that has certification and a test, please
prepare for success by studying. Study guides, rule books and

OFFERED AND WHAT THEY DO
- Competition Official. This clinic and certification is required
prior to any specialty clinic and other certifications. No Exam
- Continuing Education. This is the update clinic that is at
minimum required for every official, at least every two years. No Exam
TC, RA, CR, CC, JA - Specialty Clinics with exams that offer
certification in the specialty area. Certification in specialty
area is required for officiating in that capacity at an event.
Taking one of these clinics and passing the test also satisfies the
continuing education requirement in Rocky Mountain Division.
Update – Continuing education with additional focus on jury issues
offered by RMSRO each fall. This clinic also satisfies the
continuing education requirement as does the FIS TD update also offered
in the fall.

If you are planning on attending a clinic
that is not on this list it is
not approved and you will not receive credit for it. If you have

If anyone else would like to host clinics, please
have them contact me and we
set it up and get it posted on the RMSRO.ORG web site.
Satellite clinics are scheduled for dates after
the RMSRO annual clinics with the exception of the CO clinic, which can be
held at any time.
Satellite clinics have a minimum of 10
participants, the number of participants should be discussed prior to
Satellite clinics, no matter what the title,
are taught by an official of Level II or higher who has attended the
most recent update.
Satellite clinics are also staffed with a
second instructor one level above the clinic being taught.
CO and Update clinics are scheduled for at
least 2 hours. All other
clinics are scheduled for a minimum of 6.5 hours for ample time to
complete study materials, study problems and exams.
Exams given at satellite clinics must follow
exam protocols of providing an appropriate exam environment.
RMSRO registration forms should be filled out
and the $10 registration fee should be forwarded to RMSRO
